A tree decorating event will be sponsored by the Suisun City Historic Waterfront District and the Suisun City Business Group.

Nonprofit organizations and businesses donating all proceeds to charities are welcome to join in on the fun. Come and decorate a Christmas tree to be auctioned at the Suisun City’s Christmas on the Waterfront Festival. We will supply a pre-lit tree for you to decorate. Please choose a theme suitable to your organization and decorate the tree to be sold to the highest bidder at a silent auction. Top bid monies will be given to the organization decorating the tree. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the top three trees judged by our distinguished judges.

Trees will be available for decorating at 11 am the morning of December 6, 2008. Decorating times are from 11 am to 2 pm. Decorating will be inside a tent to block any unpleasant weather that might come to dampen our festival. Christmas Tree viewing and silent auction from 2pm to 6pm. Please encourage everyone within your organization to participate, whether they are decorating or bidding on trees.

Applications for tree decorating are available on Suisun.com or at Suisun City Hall. Applications must be submitted before November 22, 2008. Trees are limited and will be assigned on a first come basis.
