All Aboard For National Train Day at the Historic Suisun City Train Depot

National Train Day (in its sixth year) events are being held around the country and Suisun City is proud to host one of these events! Come help us celebrate the 143rd anniversary of the nation's first railroad!

Activities for this family-friendly event on Saturday, May 11, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. include:

Western Railway Museum model train interactive
$1.43 hot dogs at the Waterfront Cafe for the first 143 attendees!
Waterfront District businesses and community service organization booths showcasing products and services
Shimmy (flash) Mob
Chapkis Dance performance
Kids Depot with fun, child-friendly activities

Live entertainment from the jazz and R&B musical ensemble Suspects of Soul

4th Annual Mother's Day Artisan Fair

Make special Mother's Day memories at the 4th annual Mother's Day Artisan Fair on Sunday, May 12. Bring Mom to browse the booths, meet the artists and find a special treasure she will love!

More than 50 talented artists and artisans will be on hand to display their quality hand-crafted wares. You can also enjoy a snack or bring home a box or specialty homemade treats to complete Mother's Day!

The fair will be held on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12, from 10 am to 3 pm. Booths will be set up at Main Street and Solano Street in Harbor Plaza Park and along the beautiful Suisun City Waterfront. For a vendor application, please click here to download information.

Enjoy singer songwriter Amber Snider and her Amber Snider Band. They will delight Mom with their unique brand of folk-rock, country and blues. Amber has recently released two new CD's, was featured on KRON-TV's Best of the Bay. In true Mother's Day fashion, Amber will be joined on stage by her mom and step dad, the talented duo Pine Dogz! You and Mom are going to enjoy the show!
