The Heritage Collection - Sites, Structures, and History of Fairfield and Vicinity
This wonderful pictorial of hundreds of the historic sites and structures is the Fairfield-Suisun area was lovingly compiled in 1999 by The Heritage Society of West Central Solano for the city of Fairfield. The book includes more than 400 photos, with historical descriptions. Also included is a written history of the area including information on the Patwin Indians, Capt. Josiah Wing (founder of Suisun City), Capt. Waterman (founder of Fairfield), Cement Hill and Lake Berryessa.
